Journal of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Research (JCVTR) is the official publication of Cardiovascular Research Center of the Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, in collaboration with the Iranian Society of Cardiac Surgeons. JCVTR is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December.

JCVTR follows the ICMJE's Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).
